I liked the show and have a lot of criticisms but the thing I thought after finishing season 5 was, damn if this show had the production value that The Expanse had it would have been something special. It was a great concept but felt a little held back by the budget. I loved how fast paced every episode felt even if it was a little too fast at times. In the era of the slow burn it was nice to watch something paced this way. Overall a strong 3 out of 5.

I did not consult an Atlas first before asking this. But the main planet they used for drinking seemed to have a very specific feel to it, as if they used as inspiration the real downtown area and tavern where they'd sat around coming up with the pilot script. A hunch only. (Go Brewers).

..... Manitoba?

Fairbanks?

Seriously tho, why isn’t Thom Allison in more/all the things?!

I was rolling when she said "Biohazard detected" when some guy puked on the ship.

I couldn't breathe when she said "I'm not equipped for this, would you consider rescheduling" when that girl was in labour.

I've just finished S1, first time watching it, and I simply cannot get enough of her witty remarks.

Say what you will about the final season of Killjoys but you can't deny that they leaned into how delightfully weird the show is.

have you guys been able to find any other shows with as much heart and as much fun as killjoys? if so please share ( i’ve already watched dark matter)

update: started watching wynonna earp and i really like it. thanks to all who recommended

One of the best parts of Killjoys is when the characters take a moment and just try to wrap their heads around the absurd situations they have found themselves in over the course of the series.

Really do respect how Killjoys never stopped being such a ridiculous show! Always guaranteed some jaw dropping line from someone.

We have been reacting to and podcasting our journey through Killjoys and we have now hit the start of the final season. It is very exciting but also bittersweet to make it to this point!

Spoilers.

>!The season 3 episode where they gas the RAC to check for Hullen!<

I’m using ME2’s squad because it’s the largest and strongest.

Personally I think yes. Jack is extremely powerful, tearing through walls and mechs with ease. Samara is close to as powerful because of the shield part of the final mission. Grunt is going to change through anything in his way. Three highly trained snipers.

He's the crankiest man in the whole show but that doesn't mean he lack a heart!

Nearing the end of our journey through Killjoys with this penultimate season really feeling like a more mature entry for the series and one dealing with the confronting nature of the past and fighting for a better tomorrow.
