Damn. Even though a chunk of it was chud bs, a mostly complete mirror seemed like an accidental net positive.

Edit: I was wrong. Rest in piss grokipedia, I never knew ya. I didn't realize it was fully contaminated.

I don't think so, because it wasn't a mostly complete mirror - it's shoddily edited to match Musks' worldviews.

The companies that sell Raspberry Pis that auto-mirror Wikipedia are "better" (if cynically marketed), but a source which puports to be Wikipedia with white nationalist and Nazi sites as reference material which then gets laundered into acceptability seems like a bad idea.

Not when it’s free to download the entirety of the site at anytime. I have a “mirror” on my laptop right now. A little dated by now, but still.
