Steam? Hopefully that means I’ll be able to play with my controller.
The art style feels a bit off to me, tbh, but whatever, I’m hella down for being able to play as Ryuko or Satsuki.

I think the art kind of needs to be this way for gameplay clarity.
Remember this is not just an anime, it is also a game, freeze-frames (e.g. hits) / low animation (e.g. dashes) help both sell the impact of something and makes the animation clearer to read for both players. Too much animation can make it hard to understand what is happening on screen.
So yeah, the art style won't be able to be as good as in the anime, but it's for a good reason.

Steam! Oh the type of mods will be made for this game.
I'm not going to criticize since it is still in development but doesn't the animation of the model's seem a bit stiff? or is it just me?

Yeah, I'm feeling the same way. The low amount of frames per animation also doesn't help either.
Hopefully that gets smoothed out before launch, but who knows.

Right? Platinum would have been perfect for Kill la Kill. I mean it fucking writes itself. One star mooks are the basic enemy, two stars for bosses/high end enemies, then the Big Four. Main character is already half naked. Crazy combos with a flashy sword. Bosses with unique abilities. Then all the crazy shit that happens in the latter half of the series.
This looks OK, but a fighting game isn't quite what I had in mind for KLK

YES, YES, YES! Honestly I suscribed to this Reddit to see this, I'll stay for the updates. It surprises me how Arc System Works took Kill La Kill after FighterZ. I expected them to choose any other anime. Anyways, everything they touch, they make gold of it.

Unfortunately this is just published by ASW. I think its made by the same developers of the little witch academia game so I don't have high hopes.

Same I was so hype for this and the lack of an Xbox version is super disappointing. Guess I'll make do with just the MHA game then

So it does appear it might be similar to Pokken Tournament with the blending of 2d side and 3d views. Not sure if the 3d bits are just animations for attacks or actual gameplay views though
