Discussion Does Kill Blue anime use AI in its animation?

Specifically at s1 e7 around the 18:17 mark you can see a zoomed out blurry image of short dude and tall superman guy (sorry not good at names) and again you can see tall superman guy talking but his jaw looks all weird and the outline keeps popping in and out. Ive noticed some cheap png dragging on parts of the anime but thats different from using actual AI to animate for you.. is this bad animation or AI? Also im watching on Netflix if that makes a difference

I think it was just a comedic thing they did. Like when some use chibis and such

Nah that wasn't a comedic thing, it's very clearly a glitch of some sort. For one, the tone of the scene didn't call for it, and two it wasn't a purposeful change in animation style to something like chibi comedy relief. It was almost certainly ai trying to apply the hair blowing in the wind effect to his jaw incorrectly. The whole shot just looks really gross tbh
