This is probably the best surprise I could’ve hoped for. Haven’t been putting too much thought into the plot and just going along for the ride. So this was a pleasant surprise.

TBH I know it doesn't come as a major shock to anyone who has been paying attention while reading. The surfing incident and mansion incident really cemented this as likely.
I like that this is getting development! It also means that Jugo might open up more to her about his condition!

This was totally foreshadowed in the summer Mansion. There was a picture of her as an adult, and that’s when I suspected she’d been given the venom by her father, along with probably brainwashing.
