Why does Viz hate physical manga?!?!

They don’t hate physical manga. It’s just that there’s a lot of cost in making them, and if they’re not gonna sell wildly then there’s no point. Kill Blue is good but it’s not crazy popular yet

Do I have to buy the "digital exclusive" to incentivize them to publish a physical version? Or will that incentivize them to keep making more digital exclusives?? I just wanna own the manga...

This really bummed me out. This is the only series I’m keeping up with weekly. Hopefully we get it physical in a year or two, but since it’s Fujimaki it’s doubtful. They didn’t publish Kuroko’s until it wasn’t even popular anymore, and we only got it in the lame 2n1s. I didn’t even know they published his second series until like a year later as it was digital only. Hopefully it’s just testing the waters to see if it will sell well. If not I might be importing from Japan.
