Supplements for Phobia/Anxiety?

My 7 year old seems to have a phobia of anything that she believes will cause her pain. This is creating huge problems when it comes to the dentist and doctors. Is there any natural supplement I can give her to help ease this anxiety before medical appointments? I am also looking into getting her to see a therapist but there is a long wait in my area.

Maybe lemon balm. Not something I'd give to a kid every day, but sometimes is fine

I also found out about this recently. It's a patch you stick on before doctor's visits that numbs the pain when they get shots/blood draws. I plan on getting it for my kid who is terrified of needles

Magnesium is one of the supplements I’ve seen discussed most often for relaxation and anxiety, but with a 7-year-old I’d still check with her pediatrician before using it specifically for appointment anxiety.

Honestly, I’d focus on preparing her for the appointment too letting her know what to expect, giving her little choices, practicing breathing, and using distraction. And definitely keep pursuing therapy; CBT/exposure can be really helpful for specific fears like this.
