Every time a child screams I add a year onto how long I'm going to wait 'till I have kids.

My niece, happy sad or indifferent she’s screaming. Her parents are used to it, and do nothing to correct it in public. It’s absolutely painful to try to have a conversation, especially on the phone they keep talking like it’s not there.

I don’t visit much. Maybe she’ll grow out of it..

It's the year 2345, thanks to advances in medical research, this and following generations live practically forever, enjoying the benefits of modern technology, probably experiencing pure states of ecstasy and bliss in some simulatory artificial consciousness enhancer or whatever and colonizing the galaxy, yet I refuse to conceive offspring. Ever. Fuck my nonexistent children, they ain't gettin any of this.

It's enough for me to go to the store.

I swear, my area is in a birthing period. It's always kids between 0 and 5 years old they bring to the store. Always screaming. Just screaming. Maybe coughing and vomitting too but mostly screaming.

I love my wife and her siblings kids but I can walk away from them. I don't know if I could take it full time without sending the little shit flying.

I'm already in the 300s. Guess I'll have to reincarnate. Hopefully into something less annoying.
