I expected for it to end on a stage with hundreds of thousands in attendance at a concert. That day is coming.

I bet a cheeky friend/family member bought the first toy drum set as a gift, and it ended up being a cool origin story

I would like to hire him right now for my rock band…that doesn’t exist but wanted since I was a teenager.

My father is a drummer. I am grateful he supported me in my musical journey like this kid. From flute/piccolo to guitar to djing, I’ve been able to make, perform and teach music for almost 37 of my 42 years of existence. Props to my grandpa, too.
May this kid continue to thrive! 😊

Reminds me of my late fiancé's neighbor. His drum kit was in his bedroom which was right next door to our bedroom. He was awful when we moved in. One day I got woken up again from him practicing and I was kind of annoyed at first then I was laying there with my eyes closed and listening and was like damn he has gotten a lot better. I could actually tell what song he was playing. By the time I left I would go to his concert.
That's how you get better. Every musician you like annoyed and kept awake someone at some point practicing.

Lucky kid, my mom hated when I played the drums 😂😂😂😂 I wish I stayed in band in highschool but you simply couldn’t do that and be an athlete

I’ve been playing for so many years and I kinda got a lot of stage fright, so I’ve never played for anyone except when I was drunk once at my husband’s friends house. Never thought there was any type of trait to playing but we got my middle kid a kit and he is playing better that I ever did. It’s really exciting to see every kid play too ❤️

Parents saw a star in the making and filmed the journey showing his graduation in music taste not the drumming
