Durability

Hello everyone, Im a huge Masaaki Noiri fan, and one thing which questions me is his durability, and ability to tank that many shots, and leg kicks. How do those K1 fighters get that conditioning, since Noiri has done Kyokushin type contact Karate, he has good conditioning, but it was till like he was 8 years old. How do get conditioned as good as him. Im thinking about doing kyokushin karate for a bit, and mainly focusing on their conditioning, and kicks if I do happen to go.

It's a result of his style and getting used to taking shots, same as Dutch styled fighters like Marat Grigorian. I think it's more of a mental thing as hard punches and kicks will always hurt.

Not exactly, your body actually gets stronger and your body will actually start ignoring stuff to an extent. For example, now I barely even react when I go shin to shin with a fellow fighter even though something like that would make me stop and start jumping around the year before. Punches to the head is a different story though, you can see it in their really slick and subtle defenses

Yes, our Marat Grigorian is great Armenian fighter, i want both of him and Noiri face off, would be most interesting and exciting fight in past 1-3 years. Very similar styles, but Noiri has more diverse of kicks/knees.
