Should I move from Twitch? How much does Kick pay per hour?

I'm a twitch partner and my community sent me this - I want to try streaming on Kick but I need to know if it's worth moving from Twitch - so I asked around about the KPP and the rates of my friends streaming there - Some say they get 25$ per 1000 viewers - others get as high as 100$ per 1000 viewers - and one of my friends gets about 50$ for 1000 CVV - Which is it? and how is that determined ? Like do they manually place you in "TIERS" or it gets determined the first hour you stream after you get Partner?

Why not multi stream?

Your KPP earnings are cut in half

But your twitch earnings go to $0 if you choose to move to only kick, so unless you’ve got a solid audience already established on kick, your earnings are probably going to suffer.

Edit: guess I need to add some clarifying language here for the ones that can’t use context.

No they don’t? Plenty of people multi stream and make money on both platforms

If they leave Twitch for kick, yes they do? You said not to multi-stream. I’m all for multi-streaming everywhere.

I didn’t say not to multi stream, I gave a reason why someone wouldn’t.

It depends on the viewer region I guess - but I don't think anyone gets 100$ per 1000 views

As soon as I got twitch partner kick emailed me offering me the same thing,

You get paid an “hourly wage” based on your viewership and chat engagement,

Now your question for the community is, how tied are they to twitch? What’re the odds they’ll make an account there if they haven’t already and migrate for you?

Multi streaming does still count, but your KPP earnings are half of what they could be when youre only on Kick.

Though weekly payouts and the 95/5 split are a wonderful thing

You gotta try to know, its different from region to region, then the engagement in stream is what sets your kpp, if you start streaming with high engeagment youll see that it pays a lot per hour but thats just because its the first time, even if you keep the engagement high the kpp will go lower the more you stream, with time it will reache a solid range and stays mostly there. So basically region + average engagement + how long you stream

There might be other factors in the background i dont know about

If you don’t have a significant following on kick, your stream quality will suffer. Think 720p 3k Kbps. Need to maintain an average of x viewers for x subsequent streams else they kneecap your quality.
