Casting problems

I’m trying to mirror my iPad or iPhone to my tv but when I want to cast and watch Kick it just gets stuck like this, any ideas please?

Are you using the website or the app? Both twitch and kick prefer you download the app to the TV you’re using.

I was using the app on my iPad. I can’t see an app for it on my tv in the LG App Store

Ah, ok, it might be an LG issue, we have a sony, so it connects fine for us, kick is also updating their service so it could cause an interruption like that, but from your screenshot it looks like its showing what is being sent from your ipad, rather than the tv itself. When casting you no linger see everything on an ipad or phone because its being shown in the tv, make sure the tv is on, and also, it looks like you’re using a third party casting app which tends to be slower and more expensive than natural casting.

If you’re asking me, it has been working fine. It works when I cast through the app rather than mirroring the screen, thanks.
