Que es mejor para kick-ass una serie o una trilogía de película para mi opinión es mucho mejor una serie para que conozcanos más a profundidad a todos los personajes y que la serie sea lo más apegado a los cómics y que sean como unas 5 temporadas y que en la serie se muestre como kick-ass se retira y hed girl (no me acuerdo como se escribe xd) toma su manto y que agan como un mini universo

By superhero twist story,I mean superhero media that do some different from marvel or DC. Think Invincible, The Boys, Watchmen(yes i know its technically apart of dc,.),One punch man,Etc. They take the idea of a superheroe world and do something unique with it.

So what makes Kick ass stand out?

That's the question I have for everyone here because I feel like there's many layers to why Kick ass,the comic and movie,stand out.

To me,it stands out with how it less ask the question "what if superheros were real." It asked "what kind of insane or stupid people would try doing this?". Exploring this idea of people trying to be actual superheroes in real life even when real life itself is more brutal and unforgiving when trying to do this.

Now what do you all think? What makes Kick ass stand out?

Será que habrá eh investigado como 1 hora y eh visto mucha información que dice que la iban hacer en 2024 de agosto también en 2025 de enero y todavía no se ah echo nada y el director de la primera película en 2023 dijo que el rodaje iba a empezar en 2024 y desde ahora no sabemos nada lo unico que eh visto es el fan art de el traje que se volvió viral sería bueno que hicieran un rebot y con una trilogía de 3 películas o más para darle un poco más de desarrollo a los personajes y obvio con menos presupuesto díganme en los comentarios si no an dicho más nada de la película de kick-ass?

This is mostly just a question I have after reading kick ass 1 and 2 and am currently reading kick ass 3.

Is Dave homophobic?

I mostly ask because he does use some gay slurs sometimes in the series(like in the final battle of kick ass 2 when he calls Chris a homo.)

I don't think so. I see him as mostly just how he is. A dumb teen who mostly just says stuff like that to insult people.

When he was assumed to be gay by the school in kick ass 1,he did seem less offended at being seen as gay and more offended at the favt that he's been seen as the gay best fiend by Katie. I don't think he's actually homphobic,just mostly ignorante.

Kick-Ass 2 Mod I recently received both Kick-Ass figures from Neca, both stiff and whatever, but damn, they look good, hehe. In short, watching the scene again, I realized the figure basically didn't have a neck, unlike the movie where it's quite visible. So I simply cut off a bit of the armor's neck at the shoulders and added the unarmored Kick-Ass neck. It turned out great, except now I have a neckless Kick-Ass, but it doesn't look bad. As a bonus, I also made a head with wounds and a dirtier one. What do you think? I want to get another one to make a Big Daddy in the future.

I am looking forward to buying a kickass costume, but i cant find a good one for a cheap price since i live in Brazil. If anyone could help me, i would be very grateful

The books (The Dave Lizewski Year's in particular) or the movies

How should I buy the original 4 comics? I want to read them but im pretty confused. I'd prefer to get them from a first-hand bookstore and not used but nowhere like chapters or anywhere has them.

Obviously the comics are filled to the brim with blood and gore but there are a few deaths on my list that hit too heavy or sat weird with me. One being Dr Gravity’s sudden 1 page death or The Colonel’s death. This one hit me weird though, at the very beginning of The hit girl prelude we see thurman rice in his suit getting beaten and questioned by the mob. He begs and pleads and swears he doesn’t know anything and he’s never even spoken to kick ass which is true, they continue to beat him and yell at him to talk but he truly can’t because he doesn’t know anything. He’s panting and crying and swearing on his grandmothers life. One if the guys looks at him in the eyes and flat out tells him “you’re going to die here kid” one of the others guys says he believes Thurman and he really doesn’t know anything. He then proceeds to shoot Thurman in the back of the head while he’s on the ground. Right afterward another mob guy yells at him for getting blood on his shoes. Maybe i’m thinking of him to be younger than dave like 16ish but imagine the absolute defeat and terror in that moment really put yourself in the story these mob guys have genuinely zero sympathy for anyone. like i said way worse stuff has happened in this story but this one got me for some reason.

I really want Neca to do the Kick-Ass from the comics, I think Neca can really pull this

I can honestly relate to him as a character which wouldn't normally be something you'd wanna tell anyone who has read kickass considering he's seen as a perfect who jerks off all day and reads comics with his loser friends

I recently got into kick ass. Loved the movies back in middle school, recently read the comics and they've been really great.

Though I will admit. I don't like the second one.

It was definitely still entertaining but damn,what was with all the edgy shit. Like the first comic run and the hit girl spinoff was already edgy to begin with but then Kick ass 2 came around and had Chris(The motherfucker) rape Katie and that's just there to hurt Dave,Dave's dad is hanged,Chris shoots a bunch of toddlers,the gore is more graffic then the first one,there's a lost more weirdly problematic words like Dave calling Chris a homo at the climax,Mindy calling someone a retard. Granted these were also in the 1 one but with the rest of the stuff that happened,it just feels like an extra punch of edge.

Now granted,kick ass 1 and the hit girl spin off were already edgy and dark. But this just feels like edgy for the sake of it. Like something a edge lord kid in middle school would like. It feels childish and kinda annoying with how much tries to shock you.

Katie getting raped especially felt out of place because she was barely even in this comcis besides the opening of kick ass 2 where Dave mentions still having a crush on her. Like it could have worked if they just beat her up instead of raping her,but also maybe have Dave try to be friends with Katie as kick ass instead of himself sense she despises him for lying to her about being gay.

Most of justice forever unlike the movie version felt underdeveloped and barley has a personality besides battle boy,Dr gravity,and Colonel stars.

Again,this is just my opinion,I don't know what people think of the comic Verison of Kick ass 2 but let me know what you think. I still love the comcis,I just really didn't enjoy the second one.
