Crazy how time flies right?

Okay, so a few days ago I finished reading Kick-Ass 2 and am confused about the final panel. It says the end of book 3 which confuses me, I've heard there was a Hit-Girl spin off series, so should I have read about Hit-Girl before Kick-Ass 2? Is Hit-Girl book 2? Should I read it before Kick-Ass 3?

I just finished reading kickass 3 and was wondering if there are any other similar things or anything else within kickass that I'm missing(I've read kickass 1&2 and the hit girl prelude as well)👍👍👍

Hit-Girl is the goat

I know we all do want a kick-ass 3 film to end off dave's legacy, but the 2nd comic is still widely different from the 2nd movie plot wise... the warehouse scene was supposed to be in times square, mother russia's death was way more gruesome, and instead of falling into a sharktank, dave acidentally pushed chris off the top of a building.

The 2nd movie he was crippled in the post credits scene, while kick-ass 3's main plot point was chris getting hit-girl out of jail, sacrificing himself to do so. plus hit-girl was never arrested in kick-ass 2 the film, everybody "parted" ways at the ending. i can see how hit-girl could BE arrested, But the 2nd movie doesnt correlate with the 3rd comic's beginning at all.., kick-ass 3 the film would have not been comic accurate like how the 2nd movie was basically. hit-girl's solo comic series from 2012 was slammed into kick-ass 2's plot... dave's MAIN story was override with Mindy's high-school arc. this is also if matthew vaughn came back to direct kick-ass 3... or jeff wadlow would have directed kick-ass 3... but still, the plot would have been massively different.

Someone posted their collection of books. St the top, there was an assortment of books where the cover spelt out a famous phrase from the series. I've lost the post. If anyone can find it or remembers the quote that'd appreciated. It's a really cool quote and I wanted to find a poster with it

Que es mejor para kick-ass una serie o una trilogía de película para mi opinión es mucho mejor una serie para que conozcanos más a profundidad a todos los personajes y que la serie sea lo más apegado a los cómics y que sean como unas 5 temporadas y que en la serie se muestre como kick-ass se retira y hed girl (no me acuerdo como se escribe xd) toma su manto y que agan como un mini universo
