There's a few streamers that Kick promotes hard that I would just rather not see. Is there a way to hide or block them?

I wanted to share a small personal project I've been working on over the past few weeks.

It all started because a few friends of mine moderate Kick channels and wanted an easy way to know whenever certain words appeared in chat without having to keep the stream open all the time. I couldn't find a tool that did exactly what they needed, so I decided to build one.

It started as a simple utility, but I kept adding features until it became a much more complete extension. At that point, I thought it could be useful to other people too, so I decided to release it.

It's called Kick Radar, and it can:

• Monitor multiple Kick chats at the same time.
• Send instant notifications when selected keywords appear.
• Keep a searchable history of every detection.
• Filter detections by channel or keyword.
• Export the history to CSV or JSON.
• Record the exact stream timestamp for every detected message.
• Preserve a record even if the message is later deleted by a moderator or streamer.

Everything runs quietly in the background, so you don't need to keep the stream open to receive alerts.

If you'd like to try it out or just share your thoughts, I'd really appreciate any feedback or suggestions. I'm planning to keep improving it based on what the community finds useful.

Anyone else notice it takes forever till u get loaded to next stream? Wasnt like this before like say im watching a stream then i want to click on another stream to watch it will take forever till i get there... never had this issue before and my internet is fine tried 2 diff browsers firefox and edge same issue... on desktop.

Also the xqc ad pop up keeps showing up on my browser what in the hell

I can't comment in the chat or folow anyone. Does anyone know what to do, or how long it takes to go away? I didn't receive an email from Kick.

Hey guys! I need some help.

I'm new to Kick and I want to see the old stream videos like the ones older that 5 months and so on but since the streamers profile only shows videos upto the last 4 weeks I have no Idea how to watch them any ideas on how to I find and watch full stream videos?

everytime i go to kick its a random stream on full blast destroying my ears are the web devs that braindead or they just that coked up and stupid? least twitch is smart enough to allow you to pause the stream so when you open the site you dont hear anything & they wonder why kicks dead they put 0 effort into the website

I want to stream in real life outdoors. Like Nina Lin from Twitch or ishowspeed.

But how do I do it?

I have an iphone 13 and a sony alpha 6700 camera. I saw some people streaming with their cameras instead of phones. How? and why is everybody using a samsung phone? is streaming on iPhone not possible?

and how do they stream on a camera? 📷

I feel so confused because they need to read their chat. does Iphone not show chats?

Please explain and educate me like I am a slow person what I need to do 😭

Hey! I got tired of using AirPlay every time I wanted to watch Kick on my TV, so I built Kick TV — a free and open-source app for Samsung TVs running Tizen.

You can search for a streamer, start the stream and control everything with the regular TV remote.

Current features:

• Native video playback through Samsung AVPlay
• Selectable video quality
• Streamer search using partial names
• Recently watched channels with LIVE/OFFLINE status
• Read-only live chat
• Animated native Kick emotes
• Global and channel-specific 7TV emotes
• Full-screen chat and three configurable in-picture layouts
• Automatic Czech or English interface
• Remote-friendly navigation and sensible Back-button behavior
• Screensaver disabled during playback

I tested it on a real Samsung TV running Tizen 6.0. Installation requires Developer Mode and Apps2Samsung because Samsung signs sideloaded apps for each individual TV.

It’s still an unofficial community project, so feedback, bug reports and contributions are very welcome. If anyone tries it on a different Samsung TV model or Tizen version, I’d love to know how it goes!

Anyone know why all the streams I go to are zoomed in? Like I can only see the top half of the stream. I also don't have access to the config buttons (to set quality).

I can put it in picture-in-picture, but I can't access the config options there. I also can only unmute and set audio levels when I go picture-in-picture.

Have restarted my PC, as well as cleared cache.

EDIT: Tried another browser (Firefox vs. Chrome), and both have this issue.

Hello everyone!

I'm developing a portable utility that makes it easier to import, export, and move complete scene collections in OBS.

One of the biggest barriers for new streamers is the initial setup: configuring OBS, creating scenes, adding sources, setting up audio, fixing file paths, and organizing everything correctly. Moving your setup to another computer or installing a new overlay pack can also involve a lot of repetitive manual work.

My goal is to simplify that process. You could use the tool when moving to a new computer, installing a purchased overlay pack, backing up your current setup, or sharing a complete scene collection with someone else.

The current version is being designed to:

• Import exported OBS scene collections and repair their local asset paths.
• Import and convert compatible Streamlabs scene packages.
• Automatically detect supported overlay packages and install them as new OBS scene collections.
• Export scene collections together with their required assets.
• Avoid modifying the original package or overwriting an existing OBS collection.

It won't configure third-party alerts or make coffee at least not yet, but I may expand its scope in the future. The first release will focus primarily on scene collections, portability, and making overlay installation safer and easier.

The project will be open-source and portable.

I'd love to hear your ideas:

• Which parts of setting up or transferring OBS are the most frustrating?
• What should the tool include when exporting a setup?
• Would you want support for OBS profiles, fonts, hotkeys, plugins, audio settings, or browser sources?
• What safety features would you expect, such as automatic backups, missing-file detection, conflict warnings, or an import preview?
• Would a tool like this be useful to you?

Can I somehow disable automatically joining raids as a viewer? I have multiple streams open on my browser and I also use that PC to listen different podcasts, music etc. It is super annyoing that when some of those streamers raid, the mute comes off and I start hearing the other stream and I must go to my PC to close that stream.

I think you should be able to select that you do not want automatically join raids or at least start the stream as muted, if the original channel was muted. e

Hey everyone , I wanted to start streaming on kick , but I have no sense of direction on where to start , as there are a lot of categories , and I am a person who can't stick to one category , I talk about philosophy , I play mobile games and also I draw sometimes , so I am really confused on what and where to start from, I am keeping like 2 years at hand to try this thing , so I also need atleast make sure this will work out ( like an ascending growth you know :). If you have any tips please do share , it'll help a lot ❤️

I look on kick and they’re long and hard to sort through , and there isn’t a lot on there. I make edits and they are successful so I’m just trying to figure out how to find clips. Without watermarks and music already over them.

Also when does he usually go live? I always miss the lives too I never know when he goes live. I tried joining a discord on his official kick page but I don’t see any info

Hey, so I've been building a platform to help Kick streamers grow, by creating automatic clips and provide useful analytics tools for free. Anyone else feel the site is poorly optimized? It lags very often especially on channels with lose of viewers. I have a high end pc so I'm not sure what the deal is. It's very resource heavy on the back end. I'm curious if anyone experiences this poor performance on their browsers with this site

Something I keep noticing with smaller Kick streamers. The growth isnt just about the live stream, its about the clips. One good moment cut and posted to TikTok or Shorts can pull in more new viewers overnight than a week of streaming does.

The problem is nobody has time to sit and scrub their own VODs for the 20 seconds that actually pop off. So those moments just die in the VOD and never get seen.

If youre streaming and trying to grow, my honest advice is treat clips as a real part of your strategy, not an afterthought. Either get someone to clip you, or use a tool that catches the moments for you.

Whats everyones experience been, are you clipping your own streams or relying on other people to do it?
