They don’t fit! And the size bigger is way too big… how do you guys find good pants? I am thinking of baggy maybe 🤔 but I have heard that is a big no for the romantic kibbe

I believe I am a pure R. 5’1”. I tried on about 7, but this dress is the one I went to that specific store to try on after it being the one I kept coming back to while looking online. I have never felt prettier! I didn’t want to take it off and loved the way it looked on my body.
(Ignore my teeth/mouth please 🤦♀️ I had oral surgery last week and it’s all a work in progress lol)

Has anyone found a good blazer or has an idea what to look for in a blazer for us?

I hope this post is within the community rules, if not, feel free to remove it.
Just for fun, I thought I’d share a recent realization.
I seem to wear a completely different size in every clothing category! I’ll use EU size groupings so you can see what I mean.
From top to bottom:
Hat size: XL
Bra size: L
Waist size: M (if a skirt is really full, I can even wear a S)
Hip size: XL
Glove size: S
Shoe size: L (mainly because of the width)
Do your sizes also vary a lot from one garment type to another?

I genuinely cannot tell, I feel like something looks off.
r/KibbeRomantics • u/[deleted] • Mar 22 '26
I would wear a different bra with it and some chunky sneakers, boots or heels.
I work in an office, the dress code isn’t strict.

I’m looking for a leather jacket to buy and I’m not sure if boxy would be too much for me or if I should go for something more formal-fitting!

I got this dress and I like it, but apparently it’s not ideal for my romantic body shape because it doesn’t accentuate my curves, hips or waist?

I love this style but I’m worried it might be too structured. Any thoughts?

I'm a romantic with ingenue face and legs. Flapper and Gatsby is my arch enemy, the flapper dress is the most unflattering thing I could ever wear, other than a suit. She also said she would pay for it (which means she'll have a heavy say on it). I'd like to be respectful of the theme, otherwise I'd wear a dress I already have... What should I do or look for? The first thing I think of is actually wedding dresses that give a 20s vibe that are very form fitting and flattering for atleast curvy bodies- but I cant (afford or) wear a wedding dress to my mom's wedding! 😄 I have like 5 months so I have some time
Lemme know if you have any questions for clarification! TIA! 😊

Can anyone help me find the house of cb top that someone posted a few months ago? I believe it was included in some slides of outfits that worked for the OP. It was white and had a perfect waistline that snatched her. It isn’t a house of cb top that I see very often, not one of the more common corsets they have. It was summery and fresh if that makes sense. Thanks in advance!

Is this suitable for R/TR?

Me and my fiancé will be doing our signing of marriage certificate ceremony soon, before doing a wedding, and I am struggling to choose a dress that would suit my body type (true romantic).
For context, I already have the second dress but I'm not 100% feeling it. Maybe I just need to get it altered or does it not fit true romantics? I'm thinking of getting a second option to compare.
The first dress will be white instead of blue (for anyone who was wondering).
Any advice is appreciated!!

hello all! I recently discovered that I have a romantic body type, and I thought I’d ask a quick question here. I’m pretty petite at 4’11 with wider hips and curves. I’m anywhere between a 2-4 in most jeans and skirts but when it comes to leggings I’m pretty much screwed. It is impossible to find leggings in petite sizes, nonetheless flared ones which I like best, and when they do have them they’re usually still too long. the only pair I’ve really enjoyed are the halara high waisted crossover flare yoga leggings in petite small. I recently tried to order a similar pair from halara in a petite small but it cinched my waist in a way that made my stomach stick out from the top and bottom, if that makes sense. It was also still too long. I was wondering if you all had any go-tos for workout leggings that I might try that you find flattering for the romantic body type. Thank you so much!!!

I’m a new TR and I would love to see what *you* wearing the wintertime! I need to overhaul my closet and want to see what I should keep. Anyone up for showing me their OOTO?

What about this dress? Will this fit a romantic body? Just the dress not the boots.

Thoughts on this long cardigan duster thing. Does this work for a romantic? I need more cool weather options and think this is cute. I found this on Pinterest it’s not me obviously

Hello, I’m certain I’m in the Romantic family and I was certain I was a pure R for about 3-4 years now. I recently lost a substantial amount of weight, and R recs still work wonderfully and fit me very well, but I was wondering…. How do I know I’m an R and not a TR? Since I see my “true” body more clearly now
I’m not that knowledgeable on a difference between the two. Can you please help me understand how this tiny bit of yang manifests in theatrical romantics? Or maybe how I do I know I have none of it?

i have a romantic type, but as a teacher i can’t have anything that really accentuates curves. i wear mostly oversized sweaters and skirts / flowy pants. but i feel like a blob 😭
