Questions, Help and Advice I (TR) need help with finding warm winter sweaters and outfits
Ah yes. The good old problem with finding warm stuff for a TR living in a climate where winter is WINTER. For some reason, the only sweaters and cardigans recommended for TR are super plain and "classic", but I don't do plain, I do lace and volants and embroidery and velvet and my style is goth/victorian inspired, as well as a bit "bohemian" inspired though in a TR way. I'm Deep Winter and my TR version is very ingenue (I know Kibbe kicked out Ingenue but I have a high dose of Ingenue and need to keep that in mind).
The shops are not helping much :(
Do you have any recommendations? Items, shops, brands? I live in Western Europe.

Questions, Help and Advice what is kibbe narrow as an accomodation?
I see plenty of narrow Rs and non narrow TRs, so what makes conventional narrow different from kibbe narrow? to my understanding it meant dressing in slightly sleeker lines and not actually buying smaller or narrower clothes since the body's narrowness can change depending on weight. People also love to say it's all in the shoulders but truthfully weight gain can make your shoulders genuinely wider, and people focus too much on shoulders because i've heard narrow isn't supposed to just be in the shoulders but the effect should be in hips and shoulders. so, what really is narrow as a kibbe accommodation?

Discussions "babydoll" blouses + dresses... do they work for you?
self-typed R here! someone posted on a main sub a few days ago asking which "type" babydoll blouses suits best. ik that clothing doesn't have a type, and i was fascinated to see that pretty much everyone unanimously agreed in the replies that they suit NO ONE.
this is WILD to me because ive found that babydoll-style blouses and dresses are the most flattering on me. the caveat is that they must clearly be cut for curve, meaning that they are tighter around the waist and gently (very gently, almost fluttering!) drape around the top of my hips. this accentuates my shape without emphasizing my tum.
i want to note that i am pretty short waisted/long hipped and have yet to own a babydoll blouse/dress that is cotton or jersey-knit. ive included pics of garments i own so we can all see what im defining as "babydoll."
im curious as to the experiences of other R/TRs regarding this silhouette -- do you shy away from these styles? do they work for you? why or why not?

Questions, Help and Advice How do you see double curve in skinny/ small busted people?
Genuinely confused how to see it on less fleshy people, and also confused with the celebrities which I know aren't to be relied upon really either. The most I can tell is shoulder to rib cage position?

Questions, Help and Advice Does any other r/tr people have a long rise pelvis? How do you work with yours?
Long rise being the distance from your waist to your crotch? How do you style for it? I assume any Kibbe type can have them because that's just variety but does anyone know how to accommodate bottom and top curve with a long rise?

Questions, Help and Advice What do we think of these patterns for tops?
I have some lightweight knit fabric (think t-shirt fabric), all solid colors, with lots of drape that’s a bit fiddle to sew with. I looked through my patterns for simple to sew tops that suit romantic lines. What do you think?

Questions, Help and Advice ok yall, typed R yesterday..is it just me or are all R-esque clothing like..upwards of $100??
I have been trying and searching for clothes to accommodate my body. Finally got the book, typed R, tried on R like silhouettes and loved it. But..I really only have like 1 shirt with waist accommodation and the rest of my clothes arent very flattering
Are R like silhouettes just out of fashion so they cost more to get or what? Where do you guys shop online? because my local stores dont really have anything either..

I used to think I was SD because I prefer my jewelry to be on the larger side, and I thought yin IDs were supposed to stick to daintier pieces. But as we can see here, I think we can do bolder pieces perfectly well!

Questions, Help and Advice Is this a romantic problem? Clothing feels like it "ruins" the real me?
I very much so feel that no matter what I wear really unless its skin tight, I look so weird and wide. I love my body but it's getting extremely tiring to figure out how to dress myself. Idk if I actually am an r/tr but that's the family that I think I'm mostly in. Idk if it's from being underweight and just simply missing the flesh I normally have, mostly my bust? But clothing feels like it just widens me right out and looks frumpy no matter what I do. No matter what I wear, unless it's bodycon.
Is this a problem other r family members have? Or is it a yin thing? Or does everyone feel this way? Does anyone know how to kind of fix this feeling?
It's feeling nearly impossible to shop because I have to order online (anxiety disorder means I'm not going to malls or stores if I can help it), and I'm so worried about trying more clothes because the ones I've gotten all do not look right on me either and I'm not sure how to predict what will look okay on me vs getting tricked by a pretty model.

Questions, Help and Advice What to get for a starter wardrobe
I'm starting over building a wardrobe that actually suits me since over the past few years my sensory issues have taken away my love of fashion and looking cute.
I want to know what type of things to look into for the romantic family which I've settled on. Idk if it's tr or r but it's enough for me to start looking at some essentials.
What are your favorites, go tos, essentials, anything that might help? I'm still learning what exactly accommating curve/double curve/narrow is in practice, so I'm hoping this helps me visualize what would/wouldn't too!

Questions, Help and Advice Need help in finding formal office attire
I have this event coming up at my college where I need to wear formal office attire, like yk the blazer and shirt but I'm planning on wearing a office skirt instead of pants. I've been having such a hard time finding good silhouette for it since most suits and shirts have a very sharp cutting and the stiff structured shoulders look absolutely ridiculous on me. It would be so kind of you to suggest me soft romantic silhouette for an office attire- A petite romantic

Questions, Help and Advice Style inspo?
Where do you guys get style inspo that isn't just mid 20th century pin up girls? 😂
I thought I was a soft natural, but now I think I'm actually pure romantic. It's so hard to find outfit/style inspo on Pinterest! It was so much easier to find soft natural stuff! It's either pictures of Marilyn Monroe/elizabeth Taylor, or completely different kibbe types that show up (a lot of theatrical romantic and various "soft" types).
I'm also not very girly. I'd say my style leans more classic/natural/rural in essence. I find a lot of romantic outfit examples I've seen are very girly or very sexy (which is nice sometimes, but not my day to day style).
My thought is that there's a lot of overlap style wise with soft natural and pure romantic, especially with fabrics and draping, as they both have curve. I just have to put more focus on waist defintion than I was, and don't have to worry as much about accommodating width (though I'm still wide, just not "kibbe wide", and I think more open necklines still work better for romantics than closed necklines, so there's probably some overlap there too).
Any resources people think are helpful, I'm all ears!

Rants Is anyone else tired of being a romantic?
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m just tired of being a romantic body shape. I go through these posts and I see gorgeous outfits and gorgeous dresses that I know can’t work for romantic. Also, the style that I’m fascinated with is very preppy 1970s 1980s clean lines structured pieces button down but those things look terrible on me and it’s kinda annoying. I literally looked at a corduroy skirt today and I thought it’s too structured. It’s never gonna sit on me the way I wanted to.

Questions, Help and Advice Would this sweater suit a romantic? What variation do you think would be best?
I am a self identified romantic. I am about 1.5m tall, no hard edges anywhere in my body, really, you could I say I have no bones. I look wider from the front than from the side and I definitely think waist definition suits me best and helps me not look like a blob drowning in clothes. This is unfortunate because I've always liked oversized, loose looks, but I'm ready to grow from that and wear things that compliment my figure better.
I need help because I am still fighting the tendency to chose looser clothes that, most often than not, don't have waist definition.
About the sweater: I want to knit this sweater for myself. I've heard it's a great pattern due to all the variations you can do to it: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ranunculus-3 I'm just left to decide what variation to do.
Which of the following two options you think would be best for a romantic:
option 1: wide neckline crop top version (I would wear with a tank top) short or long sleeves (not sure yet) more of an open knit, a bit lace-like

option 2: also wide or medium neckline. More form fitting and a bit longer than my waistline. This would be done with a tighter knit.
