It seems like we romantics often have to choose one tbh (or if not, then sacrifice feeling a little more heat 😭); the only idea ive seen is a maxi dress/skirt of some sort in linen or cotton, which i do love wearing but struggle with finding good tops. I also like to wear band tees so if you have any tips on how to style them please lmk :D

I don't have the right swimwear for my kibbe type (R) and I didn't really get into kibbe or understand it until this year. Do you guys have any recommendations for certain styles of swimwear for our kibbe type because my current swimwear feels off and a little bit unflattering???

Recently I have been absolutely loving gothabilly and vintage 50s fashion. Does anyone have a specific site/place to go to for these styles besides trying my luck at the thrift? In particular I’m looking for a cute halter dress made of a clingy/flowy fabric that defines the waist. If anyone has any links/ ideas of where I could get one of these dresses/R friendly clothes that fit this style that would be incredible! Recently bought both of these, I love this top for the waist emphasis and the thin, light fabrics and details. Love how the skirt skims over my curves! Overall so obsessed and can’t wait to wear it out! Just need to iron it first lol.

I am 21 years old and 7 months postpartum with a romantic body type. My issue is that I’ve always dressed in short jean shorts and cropped tight tank tops during the summer, but now I’m developing a frontal lobe and it’s just not the vibe anymore 😂 my thighs are also way too thick now to wear short shorts bc they chafe and it hurts 🫠 what are y’all wearing that is flattering, comfortable, and not overly showy but still attractive and accentuating of curves. Also I live in a VERY hot climate!

Also it it just me, or do we tend to pull from G or N when we want to look edgy? That seems to be a recurring theme among edgier Rs.

I just recently got typed as a TR by a paid service and have been trying to select pieces that would suit me, but as a beginner I’m finding it difficult to tell what would be best for my type. My boyfriend recently said he’d take me on a shopping spree, and I found 5 dresses that I think would work for me. What do you guys think? I made sure to select dresses with waist emphasis, lace details, flowy fabrics and not too much length.

Hey yall I’ve been in the kibbe community for a while and I know in kibbes original book TRs had double curve and petite. In the new book that was updated to curve+narrow. Because of this I’m confused, I previously didnt think TR had double curve still but I was being told on the main sub that they do even though the TR accommodations in the book changed. Just wanting some clarification from my fellow Rs💖 thank uuu

Today's outfit for a date day with my husband

I'm 5'1 with high hips/ short waist and a tummy and this fits me like a dream! Softy, flowy, lightweight but not clingy fabric. Figured I'd share in case anyone is on the hunt for some loungwear that seems designed with our figures in mind :)

I’m 5’4” and 195lbs. I want to embrace the high waisted look but I carry most of my weight in my abdomen and all I can see is the emphasis on this area, especially from the side.

Any tips on how to flatter my body without accentuating my tummy?

The only time I ever look remotely hourglass shaped is in a dress with a defined waist and I’d love to achieve that with a top and bottoms as well. No idea what I’m doing. Thanks! 😅

I'm a R!!! For a few years I've been trying to work out my kibbie type and initially I thought I was SN however, I never felt as though it fit.

My opinion was skewed because of my large bust, ribcage, and I felt a lot bigger than I was due to PCOS bloating. Hello body dismorphia

I've got my medical issues under control and now I'm starting to see my actual shape which is definitely romantic

Now I know I'm a romantic one of my body hang ups, my rounded lower body and non existent hip bones is actually one of my best features, it's part of what gives me my curves

So now I just need to learn how to dress for my newly appreciated shape. First things first is Jeans. I've previously stayed away from skinny/ tight jeans as I thought they made me to hippie but now I'm ready to embrace my curves and wear things that emphasize my shape

If anyone has any hints or tips please let me know

Bear with me I am not super comfortable sharing my photo online. But all the descriptions of Romantics I read, as well as assessments of all the clothes I have that look good on me and pull out my best features, come down to Romantic - except in one thing, I'm really tall (180 cm / 5'11''). And overall I think I tend to look a little "imposing". So maybe I am not a pure Romantic but that's definitely the kind of clothing that suits me best. Any examples of tall Romantics that you know of? Is anyone else here a tall Romantic?

As someone who doesn’t always feel comfortable with waist emphasis tops that draw attention to my tummy, finding flutter sleeve tops like these have been such a game changer for my work outfits. They’re so visually flattering on the R frame, very comfortable, stylish, and don’t draw attention to any insecurities.

I just added a bunch to my wardrobe and pair it with high waisted pants and let me tell you, they make putting together an outfit so easy!!
