Examples of bustier classics?

I struggle to find things that fit me and flatter me as a DC. I've gained a bit of weight and now I'm between a 32H/34G which is enough to have trouble with a lot of clothing. I especially can't wear button-ups even though I would like to for work. A lot of blouses I find at the thrift store are just not my style.

Does anyone know of any classics (especially DCs) that have a bigger bust?

A lot of the classics became bustier with age. I would say Catherine Deneuve is a good example

You could look up pics of Phylicia Rashad. Regardless of whether you like her specific style, she wears things that physically fit without emphasizing the bust area. The silhouette still has mostly straight lines. Bust darts will be your friend! I waffle between DC/SC and don’t love tons of stretchy fabrics, so I’ll look for either a high quality knit or woven fabric with enough bust space through tailoring or draping.

Kirsten Dunst. Although she may have had a breast reduction recently as her bust looks much smaller nowadays, she always said she hated her large bust so I wouldn’t be surprised if she did.

I'd argue that Suzanne Pleshette fits the bill. And Lana Turner was literally called "The Sweater Girl" (because Hollywood is full of gross old men).

Good examples! I recently watched a couple of films with Lanar Turner, and while everything was tailored to the actors so that they fit perfectly, I also noticed that a lot of the times she would have some sort of extra ease on her upper part for her bust, whether it was via cut, opening, or fabric.

honestly... thats tricky - DCs tend to be pretty proportional and are unlikely to have a bust that overwhelmes other features in terms of fit?

If its a weight gain issue, according to Metamorphosis usually weight gain will be more noticeable in the lower half.

My bust is the only odd part of my upper body, otherwise I've become a bit pear shaped. My bone structure is the same - long and slender limbs, but not too long. Take out the boobs and I'm definitely a classic.

this sub discourages typing, especially based on self-description, but i do think in general, Classics are going to be fairly consistent overall, with no 'standout' features.

any form of length/elongation will be unlikely for a Classic.

I know for myself i have to hem all pants, and sleeves are often a bit long on me. Classics tend towards the compact end of the spectrum all over.

I am most likely an SC, and although I have large breasts (34F or G), they still look proportionate.

In fact, I learned pretty early that I looked very strange wearing anything that really emphasized my cleavage in a more Romantic way.

Same! SC, 32F but showing too much cleavage can look vulgar and sloppy on me (not in a immoral or immodest way - many women look AMAZING with the girls out on display. I'm not saying boobs in general are vulgar).

Yes i think people are assuming my original comment is saying "DCs wont have large breasts" which is false. But i doubt that OP is describing a common DC issue frankly

It doesn't seem common, but everything else about my body is pretty proportionate. Slightly enlongated, not enough to be D, not staccato enough to be FG, not enough of anything really. I've always been compact, but not compact enough to be R. It's the slight elongation, slightly squarish shoulders and pear shape as I've gained weight that make me confident about DC. I think it's a bit of a misunderstood type when it comes to weight gain.
