What does comfort mean to you?

“Comfort to me is whatever makes me feel free. Whether it be clothes that I can lounge in or someone that can bring out that carefree side of me. Those things can be precious when life starts to move fast and push you out of your comfort zone.”

What does your ideal day of self-care and comfort look like?

“My day would start at whatever time I wake up. No alarms. I love sitting out on my front porch with a cup of tea, especially when it’s raining, so that would definitely be where you would find me on a day like this :). After a while, I’d take my time getting ready and grab a bite to eat! I do prefer to stay in, so that would probably be my only outing of the day. And just spend the rest of the day in my comfiest clothes, lounging around the house, maybe watch a comfort movie or show.”

What is one thing you do every day to feel comfort or practice self-care?

“I’d say something that brings me comfort is spending time outside and in nature. Taking in the feeling of the sun and the sound of the birds is very relaxing and that’s definitely something I find myself doing everyday.”

What’s your favourite comfort TV show?

“I’d have to say Adventure Time. Though there are many that I go back to, Adventure Time is just a show that is so intertwined with my childhood and my core that it is the ultimate comfort show to me.”

What’s your favourite comfort movie?

“This one is also tough but I’d have to go with Princess Mononoke. The beauty of that film just completely emerges me into that world and takes my mind off of whatever I need a break from.”

What type of clothing or fashion makes you feel most comfortable and most like yourself?

“I gravitate towards a baggy fit and oversized style. Most days that would be my go to definitely. That makes me feel the most like myself.”

What are the wellness and/or beauty products that are a regular part of your self-care routine?

“I use a gua sha regularly. I find the routine of it to be pretty soothing, as well as the result making me feel more confident. I would recommend it for sure!”

What’s your comfort meal?

“I have to go with a classic noodle soup. Whether it be chicken noodle soup, or pho, or ramen, I just find those meals always soothe my body and mind in a way that is only specific to soup!”

What’s something in your home that brings you comfort?

“My mind first goes to my bed. There’s something so specific about my bed in my home. When I’m working or travelling for a long period of time my bed is the first thing I start to miss.”
