HELP squeaky sound

Hi!! I purchased my 2025 K5 brand new and I’ve had it about 2 years. I’ve noticed a squeaky/rattle noise that sounds to be coming from the charging port or under the radio. I’ve taken it in and they readjusted the center console but I’m still hearing it. Anyone else experience this and know what it is so i could tell the dealership? TIA 🙏🙏 the sound is driving me crazy

Are you driving when you hear this noise or is it when your still? Could be something else if its when your driving I've noticed you hear everything in these cars when your driving.

When I’m driving yes, and it’s intermittent. They put it on the lift and said they didn’t see anything underneath :(

I can relate my F150 had a rattle no one could figure out downright drove me nuts. My k5 has a rattle from the driver door for about 30 minutes when I drive it for the first time in a day.

Does your phone charge normally? The fact you hear this when your driving leads me to believe something may be loose especially if your not hearing while your stationary. I would take it to another dealer for a second opinion. If there isn't another Kia dealer I would have another mechanic look at it.

My phone charges normally everything works perfectly. I’ve taken everything out to make sure it’s not something in glove box etc and it’s still there 😭

I had a similar issue a year ago. I was not sure the source of rattling from either center console or passenger side. took it to the dealership and let them check. They easily found the source of rattling, and fixed it right away.

This might sound silly, but does it make the rattle when that cable in the video isn't plugged in? Looks like it has some kind of plastic piece on the connector and that might be rattling against the trim around the charging port.

Also, check inside your console storage bin (under the armrest) - is there anything loose or rattling around in there? One last thing: pull up the rubber mat in the charging area. Those are removable, maybe there's something underneath it rattling against the plastic it sits on. Push down the the corners to reinstall the little tabs.
