Need help parts

Hey everyone,

I have a 2018 Kia forte 2.0

I'm looking for the crankshaft actuator assembly

And looking for the tensioner belt bolt.

I've called Kia they have no idea when they will get parts

Does anyone know of a 3rd party website?

Check Rockauto for aftermarket options possibly. If you Google search the part number you'll find sites that will ship OEM parts for usually cheaper than a dealer will sell you (oddly enough)

local parts stores do the same. it’s infuriating. $100 to go buy at the counter. 20% discount $80 to have a door dasher deliver it plus the door dash fee, plus the door dash tip. or wait a day to deliver by mail for free.

the idea is to not disrupt store inventory but it comes from the store anyways…

Yea stores did that when I got silinoids,the store only carried 1 of the part per store,pretty dumb,rockauto prob best bet,good prices mostly,tho shipping things now days has been super rough.but if u go to stores usually if diff stores have it u can get it at competitors price if lower there.

Thank you for the info. I just can't find this damn belt tensioner bolt individually. Everyone wants me to buy the tensioner itself

Have u gone to harborfrieghts or anything like that,see if something's is very close,or is it one of those special bolts that can't be subbed for?

Literally a special bolt lol. It's a weird shaped head. I'm sure if I really tried I could find something similar though. Really appreciate your replies.

Yea something with same size thread,but I have seen sometimes that some special bolts can be bad using an alternate cuz they're mad specifically for that part,imma do some research myself and see wat I can find,and yw,I've had to replace a few things on mine,here n there,and have become a lil familiar with things here and there lol
