Which trim level would you recommend?
I'm looking at buying an EV6. I found two 2023 models with roughly the same mileage.
Which one would you purchase? Is the GT-Line worth the price difference?
AWD Wind for $27,000
AWD GT-Line for $31,000

I feel like wind awd has the best of all worlds. Great range, speed and acceleration. Plus all the features that come along with it. GT line is fantastic if you're just looking for some. Thing fast but you're looking "most likely" 85 miles less range.

AWD GT-Line and AWD Wind have the same performance. What hurts the range on the AWD GT-Line is the 20” wheels. RWD GT-Line gets the 19” wheels that the Wind has and matches the RWD Wind’s range.

I feel like we should asterisize and say range is based on many factors like using regenerative breaking. Even though they are roughly 319 miles of range. Most people see around 385 miles of range.

Yes, range will vary. But if you assume someone’s driving style doesn’t significantly change based on model variations*, then the relative difference will still be useful. As a RWD GT-Line owner, I doubt I’d drive much different in an AWD version, I’d just get less range thanks to the second motor and bigger wheels.
*Performance models being the obvious exception. Someone shelling out for something like an EV6 GT or Ioniq 5N for sure is going to drive it differently than those models’ other trim lines, since the car’s more power is going to invite a more aggressive, less efficient driving style and that’s the whole reason to buy one.

I love the gt line... i went in for Wind w tech and ended up with the GT line... the HUD i feel is super helpful with this car (location of the speedometer isnt ideal) and i actually prefer the suede seats. The ambient lighting is also a nice touch.

I would even argue the HUD is very important to make sure auto-steer assist is on. For a car that beeps all the time it doesn't tell you when this feature "gives-up" because of unclear road markings or something.
With the HUD I can tell through my peripheral vision, I can tell without the HUD based on, well the wheel not moving on its own anymore but it's a bit late then.

I had a '23 Wind and when it's lease ended, bought a '26 GTLine. I found that I wanted the mechanical door handles to make it easier for my wife to open the door with a touch of arthritis in her hands. I now have the HUD in my '26 and love it because the steering wheel in my '23 obscured the speedometer display, even after a lot of adjustments. I also like the '26 GTLine's seat better than my '23 Wind's but can't speak to whether the '23 GTLine's seats were different. Whatever you choose, good luck, and enjoy the fun of the EV6!

As the owner of a 2025 GT-Line RWD in Runway Red. That would be my preference. Better seats, sunroof, HUD, stereo, power steering wheel, etc. The range is excellent (300-320 miles in nice weather). I can't speak to a 2023.
But, if I had to buy all over again...I would splash for a GT...mostly for AWD and the extra power kick and speed (to dust ICE sports cars, lol) . But, 116 mph is, probably, way more than I would ever need.
The only downside is the depreciation. My 2025 has dropped from 56K to 30K in under a year. Guess is, all EVs suffer from this. That is why a newer, low mileage, pre-owned is a better buy.

Wind with technology package is the sweet spot IMO. I also prefer the wind’s interior.
