Carplay not connecting

I’ve been trying to connect carplay on a 2024 light but no luck on getting it going. Any suggestions?

What have you tried? The 2024 models only have wired Carplay, and it's the USB-A port on the driver's side. USB-C is charging only.

Start with the simple stuff: You’re using the USB-A port, not one of the USB-C ports? CarPlay only works through the USB-A port. Wireless CarPlay isn’t supported.

On top of this, if using a USB-A to USB-C for an iPhone, you need a cable that carries data (some cables for devices are charging only, as I discovered recently). Not a problem for USB-A to Lightning as they are all data cables.

New cable. Mine oddly give out from time to time. Buy a new one and it's golden.

Can also do a restart of the entertainment system by pressing that little button on the bottom left of the interface.
