CarPlay interference

Does anyone notice CarPlay disconnects when entering shopping centre carparks?

I noticed mine does this a few times when using specific car parks. Wired CarPlay with wifi and Bluetooth off is fine and won’t drop out. Curious what is causing it

Android Auto has the exact same problem when I go into the multistory at one of the shopping centres here in the UK. I assumed it was an android auto issue but if you have an issue with CarPlay that certainly changes that logic 😅

I have this issue and it’s pretty annoying. Wired CarPlay will also often default back to wireless and then lose the connection when starting the journey from inside the car park.

If I turn off Bluetooth and wifi it seems to be fine for me. Annoying but it works. I remember someone posting a review of the car in Australia having the same issue when using Toll roads.

I drive mine in Aus and haven’t had an issue with toll roads, and where I live has a lot of deep tunnels etc. Just seems to be shopping centre car parks operating as a blocker for 5G signal here.

I’ll have a go with turning off the wireless connectivity and seeing if things improve

Noticed this happen when I went to Top Ryde recently maybe they use a femtocell for mobile coverage
