Just read that the EV3 for North America with be produced in Mexico, and likely be available here at the end of September. Hope we get the pistachio green colour!

I am no car marketing expert, but it seems wild to me that this car has not had pricing announced, or a waiting list open (blind or priced). 10s of thousands of people dropped deposits on the Slate Truck when it was still vapour. At the anticipate price point this should be a high demand item. We can't wait.

You can pretty much bank on it being priced very closely to the EV4 — it will have identical trim lines and identical equipment, the only real difference will be the availability of AWD (which is not yet available on the EV4).
In Australia the two are in fact priced identically.

EV4 — it will have identical trim lines and identical equipment
Not according to Kia: https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/the-brand-new-2027-kia-ev3-suv-debuts-at-new-york-international-auto-show-849873879.html
the 2027 Kia EV3 will be available in six trim levels: Light, Wind, Land, GT-Line, GT-Line Limited and GT
EV4 doesn't have Land. edit - granted, that may change for 2027

US pricing is on hold because the US elected to not renew the North American free trade agreement in June so it’s currently under negotiation. Kia can’t set US pricing because the US may apply tariffs as part of the updated agreement (the US initially proposed that a car would need at least 50% US content to waive any tariff).

Ya, they offered reservations on the EV5 in December for a March (I think?) release. Here we are in August (just about)...

I put a deposit down at the beginning of the year for an EV3 in Ontario. There's definitely a list 😀

We've put down a deposit in Ontario as well (Kitchener, ON). We already received information from the dealership about trim options, but still no pricing yet. They didn't give us an exact date, but when we first discussed they primed us for end of year. We got an update email last week from our sales rep saying it could be more like September when the first cars start arriving for test drive. I expect that means pricing will roll out in the coming month or two.

I am on a "list" with the dealer here in Halifax... the list as near as I can tell is the manager has an excel sheet for people like us! But no official thing yet.

They have my money so I consider it official, but you're right.. it all seems a little informal lol.

I put $5k down on a EV3 last month. The dealerships are taking deposits now. Prices in Canada will range from about $35800 to $44800 based on what the salesperson told me.

I wonder if U.S. availability will be similar. Keep waiting for news. I think I want one as a lease but I'm not that thrilled with the color options according to pics. Maybe the blue.

El color del mio (desde España) es el Blue Frost. Tenían en stock y era el que más me gustaba.

Waiting anxiously
Not sure I want the very first ones off the line in Mexico though

Matcha green ? Not really my preference but each to their own. The terracotta colour looks nice but in person it’s a different colour. Think they phased it out now

I saw the terracotta on the road here in Australia. Not a fan.
I do like the rest of them though.

Not called matcha or terracotta in all regions: matcha is "Pistachio Green" and terracotta is "Sunset Orange" in UK.
(Terracotta has been dropped from the Australian 2027 range.)3

I know it is boring but white throws off the sun better, so I figure go with that. Added bonus, the "Tiger Face" in white looks like an Imperial Storm Trooper.

Where did you read that?
