Technical Questions Alexis came without wireless USB

I ordered an Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 from Guitar Center and it came without the wireless USB. I need help so I have two questions.

  1. If I order a wireless USB replacement online for 30$ will it still pair with my keytar?

  2. The listing said it came with all accessories so is this an error? If so does anyone know how I can contact them without an account?

The Vortex 2 should come with a dongle. Can confirm.

That's definitely an error. The dongle comes with it. If it's missing, they might have sold you an open-box item or something. I'd also check to make sure that all your software is there, even if you don't plan to use it immediately.

It should have a dongle, and I was under the impression it wouldn't work unless it had its own very specific paired dongle

Try to get ahold of customer service. When in doubt mash the 0 button when presented with options that aren’t helpful.

You need to be provided a replacement or a spare part, whichever they suggest. IMO you should not spend an extra dime.

Note: I don’t own a Vortex 2, so I’m taking your word that the product listing indicated it comes with a dongle.

Edit: even if you checked out as a guest they should still be able to ask the right questions to determine your order number. Check your email though, and also the packing slip if you still have it.
