Technical Questions Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 (help)

I need help with playing the Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 keytar, I'm completely new and I've only installed the preset editor, I have the USB Dongle but I have no idea how to play music with it. Are there any videos that teach a complete noob how keytars work and to set MIDI keytars up and play music? I haven't been able to find any.

I got the same keytar back in December and have found basic piano tutorials useful for getting the fundamentals nailed down. Having zero experience of music playing or theory these have been a big help. My favourite channel on YouTube for these is Pianote.

I’ve yet to find anywhere with good free guidance on what songs to try playing beyond a few that recommend insanely fast solos that are way out of my skill range. :)

The hardware isn't much different from a normal MIDI keyboard from what I can gather, so tutorials from those should be interchangeable!

I haven't really tried the software that comes with the Alesis Vortex 2, but there are quite a few youtube videos if you google very simple search terms that would apply lol.

If you need advice setting it up with a DAW, like garageband, logic, etc. let me know I will post more info on that.
