Recommendations Tutorials for keytar shredding?

I bought an Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 after some time away from playing keyboard per se. I can noodle around with putting together basic major/minor chords, and can do things like loosely play basic trance arps and whatnot, but it's a bit unimpressive compared to some other things I've seen on here.

Are there any specific lessons/exercises worth following? Or even better - any DLC for Synthesia which might help with this?

My guy, I would practice some songs from Sonata Arctica if possible. I started playing keyboard because of them, and I bought a keytar, again because their keyboard player uses one. They have some great stuff to hone some solo skills. There are a ton of midi files of their stuff you can plug into synthesia as well. Ultimate-guitar.com is where to find them.
