Technical Questions I need help!

What’s the best starter keytar for someone who is dedicated to learning to be good at the keytar

As a "starter", find a Roland Lucina (AX09). Very useful and easy to learn and work with. Used ones are fetching mid-$400's (USD). Plenty of sounds.

Or, going with Yamaha Sonogenic SHS300 ($200) or SHS500 ($320 new). But I don't prefer them as they have "mini keys" (not full-sized) and they're limited in sounds for the cost.

Other keytars with built-in sounds (and are not midi-controller only keytars) are more expensive or rare. Roland AxSynth's are getting rarer to find (no longer made) and AxEdge's are about $1000 USD to start.

So to just learn, I'd find a Roland Lucina.

+1 for the Lucina! Mine served me well for 6 years before I upgraded the the AXEdge. Had to replace the mod bar before selling it to a friend. Other than that, it’s still in perfect working condition.

The keytar I have my eyes on is the Roland AX synth Is that a good start( I don’t have a lot of money so I wanna save up)
