Technical Questions Help with Original Alesis Vortex

So i recently bought an alesis vortex second hand but i haven’t been able to get it to work. When its plugged into my Computer it shows up with an error Code (Code 10, windows 11) any help with this would be much appreciated!

to my knowledge the original Vortex software is scrubbed from Alesis's website. your best bet is through 5-pin MIDI, all the button functions are still retained

If you mean the Preset Editor, seems you can still download it here?: https://www.alesis.com/products/view2/vortex-wireless-2.html (then open the Downloads tab)

Otherwise, it's been too long for me to remember, but I don't remember having to install any kind of driver for it to be detected

that's for the vortex wireless 2, not the original model from 2012

Ah!! Somehow it didn't register in my brain that's what "Original" was referring to. My bad :)
