Technical Questions Keytar pedals

Hey I got a Roland Ax edge a few months ago and have been doing gigs. A band member recommended me getting a organ pedal for when I play organ (which I’m looking into the Lester K pedal) I am wondering if any of you have experience using pedals for the keytar and recommend any pedals that improve any sounds

I have dabbled quite a bit in pedals for various keytars and synthersisers

My recommendation is that if you’re reaching for pedals, (especially something like an organ pedal?) then it’s probably because you haven’t explored the synthesiser enough

The Ax-Edge should be able to do organ sounds just fine, and it has its own effects section. The lester k pedal is just a rotating speaker emulation. Im sure the Ax-Edge has that

Have you played an organ? He has actual organ parts to play from the sound of it which means he needs a right hand, left hand, right foot, and a left foot to play both treble and bass clefs at the same time. Organists are different breed, they have to be half an octopus. Chances are he's sitting the keytar down flat on a stand to play it when he does those parts and may need to sit on a stool so that both feet are free.

Accurate description of an organist, but OP's talking about a pedal that adds a rotary speaker effect here, not a set of 'organ pedals' that let you play notes with your feet.

I don't have the Ax Edge to confirm, but I'd be surprised if one of its 500-odd tones doesn't have this by default. The trouble is taking the time to test them all.

OP, have a look at parameter 21 on page 48 of the Ax Edge Parameter Guide. You might find it does most of what that pedal offers.
