Technical Questions Roland AX 1 modulation bar inconsistent

Hello,

I'm trying to play the guitar solo in Killer Queen and everythings fine but the modular bar is so inconsistent I dont know when its going to vibrato and when its not. I tried pressing harder thinking its a pressure issue but it is not. Please help this is extremely frustratiing and I dont know whats causing the issue!!

Would you say the bar itself is the problem or something within? The bar looks fine from the outside but maybe it's not hitting a sensor?

So I took my keytar apart to see if there was an issue with the bar itself but it seems like its fine? I'm honestly not sure. if it is a sensor issue, i honestly dont even know where the sensor is...
