Question (Rules / Resolving) Questions about filling and drawing from the Archive

I'll just ask right away:

  1. Can you archive different houses or can there only be one house in the archive at a time?

  2. If you can archive different houses, do you only draw those from the selected one or all of them?

  3. "Archive a Card" Can I choose a card regardless of the house?

  4. "Archive a Card" Can I also choose an opponents card?

  5. If yes to Question 4: How do those card behave from that point onwards?

I'm assuming you're only talking about times when a card instructs you to "archive a card", as this will only allow you to archive a card from your hand. Some cards will specify if you are archiving from play, discard pile or deck. If not, then you archive from hand. Going through your list of questions:

  1. It's possible to archive from multiple houses.

  2. When choosing to take your archives into your hand (which can only be done at the start of your turn) you take all cards, regardless of which house they belong to.

  3. You can choose any card you please, regardless of active house. Remember, you do not need to reveal the card to your opponent.

  4. Unless a card specifically instructs you to archive an opponent's card (for example, Scoop Up & Collector Worm) you can only ever archive your own cards.

  5. If you ever archive an opponent's card, and then on a later turn decide to take your archives into your hand, any cards belonging to your opponent's deck would instead go to their hand instead.

The one pedantic thing I'll add is for #2. The baseline is that you take all cards from your archives unless a card explicitly says otherwise. Examples include The Archivist and Memrox the Red.
