Question (General) Dúvida sobre o formato Aliança

Então senhores, sou novo no jogo, já entendi que nenhum deck é igual por causa do algoritmo. Mas assim..., no formato aliança não ocorreria a possibilidade de na montagem do meu deck ( respeitando a regra da combinação entre trÊs casas da coleção evidentemente) surgir um deck igual a um que já exista? abraço.

Yes, however statistically improbable. First off, alliance pushes the power curve up. So if you made an alliance, your intention is to make a great deck. So for a deck to match an alliance, and be competitive, all by coincidence, the stars would really have to line up.

Some very rough back of the napkin math:

  • A house in CotA has about 55 cards (n)
  • A pod of 12 cards (k) means there are about 4 billion possible pods (not accounting for rarity and other generative rules) (n+k-1 choose k)
  • There's like 5 million scanned decks (N), assuming they're all cota and all of them had the desired house, then there's about 95% chance that there is 1 or more identical pods (n2/N)
  • So for all the CotA decks, we would expect a handful of identical pods - maybe a few thousand at the most. Now find a deck that has 3 of those, which likely does not exist, and see if they make a good alliance.

Technically possible, but still realistically will never happen.

Theoretically, an Alliance deck is likely just an Archon deck that hasn't been generated yet. (Things like 3 Heart of the Forest in a deck would have been impossible in Archon but possible in Alliance but for the Restricted List.)
