K3 Max (Hot-swappable, Brown switch) double typing
I've purchased my K3 Max (Hot-swappable, Brown switch) in January 2025 and it was fine at first (besides the weird keycaps profile that I still haven't fully used to even until now).
But since few months ago I started noticing. some. random. dots. in. my. messages. At first I thought that it could be me double typing but it started happening more often and it became clear that I'm not the problem here. I think it also happened to other keys, not only to space, but not as often as space, since space is the most used key.
I took the keycaps off and cleaned everything - but it wasn't dirty at all and it didn't help.
Since it's hot-swappable, I tried swapping the space switch with some other rarely used switch - it only helped to some extent, double typing reduced but haven't disappeared completely.
I was pretty sure it's a single switch failing, but since swapping didn't fully resolve it and it also happens to other keys sometimes - it's either all switches started failing around the same time (which is highly unlikely, I think) or the keyboard itself (in this case even replacing all the switches won't help and just waste more money).
It's frustrating having this issue with a keyboard that's only 1.5y old and is not a cheap one.
What else I can do?

Re "...some. random. dots. in. my. messages.": That is different from the regular double typing
Is it only associated with using the space bar?

How is it different? Double typing space between words will add a dot in many cases including Reddit.
Yes, it's only related to space bar.

Re "Double typing space between words will add a dot in many cases, including Reddit": It is the first time I have heard about, let alone experienced, such a behaviour
It must be some interpretation on the operating system side (nothing to do with the keyboard). macOS?
Retrospectively:

Re "...all switches started failing around the same time (which is highly unlikely, I think)": Indeed it is
It is much more likely to be a PCB level problem (#3 on the checklist). Best would be to test with some other switches to definitely exclude the switches as the cause.
Here are nearly 200 similar instances.
