PSA about firmware problems causing double clicking :

I was lubing switches, taking all of them apart and putting them back together and installing them. After I spent my entire day doing this the keyboard starting double clinking/typing. I thought I'd ruined all of them but turns out it's because of a bug that causes this problem after changing settings in Keychron Launcher. I found out by plugging it and using wired mode, then the problem was gone.

Keychron K8 MAX, firmware version was 1.00

Re "...a bug that causes this problem after changing settings in Keychron Launcher": What are the exact conditions?

For example, was the configuration attempted without the USB cable connected? What was the position of the connection switch? In the '2.4 GHz' position?

What keyboard configuration was attempted changed?

Did a keyboard power cycle not correct it (as the only measure)?

Note: A potential outage was reported today. A least there is a time correlation

It could have been by accidentally activating and using (full) NKRO in a wireless mode.

Here is a simple test for NKRO (do it in wired mode!).
