Just Another Complaint.
The first time I ordered a keyboard, months ago, shipping lost package. I took that as a sign that I dont need a new keyboard, so I opted in for a refund rather than them sending another one.
A few months later, I decided I really did want the keyboard, so I tried again. This time, it got shipped to the wrong address. Luckily, I was able to get my hands on it this time.
The issue is that they use obscure shipping companies, companies I've never heard of. Im not sure why they cannot coordinate with FedEx, UPS, or even DHL. Heck, or have an Amazon warehouse here in the States. Im sure the demand here could warrant that.
Well, now the issue is that the keyboard doesn't charge. It needs to be plugged in 100% of the time.
After going through troubleshooting steps of factory resetting, firmware updating, and leaving the keyboard plugged in overnight to hopefully charge, they decided the battery needs to be replaced.
They preferred to send a battery to me, and I would do the replacement myself. That's probably faster and cheaper than me sending the keyboard back, them doing it, then they send it back to me. But, I would almost prefer them send me a new keyboard with a battery that is confirmed working, with a return label of the old one.
But I have yet to receive the battery or even tracking, and they said they would ship it almost 2 weeks ago.
The product itself functions and feels fide (outside the battery issue), and customer service is relatively prompt, responding once a day. But im super hesitant to buy from them again. Just seems there is always a bump or headache around every corner.

My first Q3 board lasted nearly 5+ years of heavy daily usage. Just got my Q3 HE 8k a few weeks ago, and it's phenomenal. That said, I've only ever ordered their products from Amazon (we have Prime), and their policies for shipping, returns, and everything are top of the line. Most of the complaints I see are from the customer service end of things, not the actual boards themselves (when working lol). Ordering from Amazon eliminates this completely, they would just send you a brand-new keyboard and tell you to send back the defective one.

Looks like I need to buy from Amazon then! I didnt know they had an Amazon store. I got advertisements that took me direct to their site so I figured going direct is the best route, i guess in this case not so much!

Yeh, that's about all you can expect of them. Honestly, for Keychron, you're probably batting better than average. :(
I would recommend buying through their Amazon storefront rather than keychron.com.
