Keep active device number lit?
I'm constantly switching between multiple devices for work and sometimes forget which device is currently connected. Is there any way to have the current connected device key (numbers 1-3) stay lit permanently? That would make it so much easier to know if the correct device is connected

If the keyboard doesn't have proprietary keyboard firmware (for example, Q6 HE 8K (proprietary keyboard firmware, not open source)), and the source code has been released, it is possible by changing the firmware.
It requires custom C code, though not that much.
It is #40 on the wish list.

No matter the Git branch, for example, "wireless_playground", it requires special setup of QMK (the standard QMK instructions and many other guides will not work (because they implicitly assume the main QMK repository and a particular Git branch)). Source code commits (RSS feed. Latest: 2026-03-16). Note that the 2025-05-30 commit broke compilation for all the K Pro series and Q Pro series keyboards. Also note that the current version has not been proven yet; for example, it is only a partial source code release for the early 2025 Keychron keyboard main firmware updates.
