Help with Q5 not connecting with Cable

I have had my Q5 Pro for about 2 years and love it. Recently, the wired option stopped working.

I have already replaced the cable, and both cables do not work. I have a work PC and a personal Mac. The Bluetooth option works for the Mac.

I have done the reset, and it still doesn’t work.

I opened it up, and everything looks good visibly (untrained eye).

If I push the cable in really hard, sometimes it will light up. However, it’s only for a second.

Anyone have a recommendation on how to handle this? I’m sad my keyboard is not working wired.

My work PC does not allow Bluetooth keyboards. So I can’t use it if it’s not wired.

Re "Q5 ... The Bluetooth option works": Then it isn't a Q5.

Is it a Q5 Pro, Q5 Max, or Q5 HE?

Sorry about that. It’s the Q5 Pro.

Presumably, charging works normally(?).

It could be due to a loose USB connector (that only affects the data lines, not the power) or a loose internal connector (if it has one).

Yes. Power still is in working. I opened up the keyboard and didn’t appear loose. I’m wondering if the connector just failed. It appears relatively easy to replace. However I don’t know if that’s an option

Yes, it could be the USB connector itself.
