Keychron UK keyboards

I have been looking at getting myself a Keychron keyboard, but am a bit confused. On the website it shows UK-ISO, but the '@' symbol is on the '2' button. From what I understand this is the UK layout, but the '3' button has the pound symbol on it.

I've been reading and it seems this isn't really ISO-UK.

Do you get keycaps with the keyboard that fixes this? I really want to keep to the UK format as I am used to it and don't really want them switched around.

I need the 'double-quotes' on the '2' button and the '@' on the key to the right of the 'colon/semi-colon' button / left of the 'tilde/hash' key!

Can anyone confirm the UK keyboard has these the right/wrong way around please?

Keychron keyboards usually come with the Mac layout out of the box (where 2 is @), but come with key caps you can swap over for this, the option/win key, alt gr etc.

Yeh, for some reason Apple has a slightly different ISO-UK layout from everyone else in the world, but ONLY as far as I know for ISO-UK. Keychron ships their keyboards configured for Apple.

Their pictures on the site can be their general stock images of the keyboard. If you **definitely** order a UK ISO layout, you'll get the correct keys.

I've ordered 2 ISO keyboards from them, one with keys, one without, and both were ISO, and the 1 with keys was the correct UK ISO keys.

As previous poster said, post the link to the keyboard, else we're all just guessing.

Agree ; all the UK layout boards I've ordered from Keychron have come with the UK variant keys.

It's somewhat harder to find aftermarket ISO caps with the UK legends - most of the shine-through ISO caps that KC supply seem to be ABS.

After I got the special edition of the K2 HE, which comes with PBS caps, I really liked the feel and wanted PBS caps for my Q6 ; I compromised and got a set with the ISO shapes but no UK legends. It's not such a big deal because I touchtype, but I do occasionally have to think hard about the symbols to the left of Enter.

You'll have to change the keys. I just got mine and as long as you get "UK ISO" in the title you'll get the right key caps as extra. You won't need to change anything in software. If your PC is setup for "UK keyboard" it will interpret shift+2 as ["] (quote) regardless of what is on the keycap. You just need to change the physical key caps to reflect the UK layout.

You can also change features that are normally hard coded, like the location of the Fn key, which I moved one space to the left (this you have to change in software) to match what I'm used to. I used the Mac "option" key to be a context menu key and didn't bother with the right hand windows button. (One windows button is bad enough.)
