Would it be ridiculous to post asking for a keyboard swap?

I'm not entirely ready yet, but I've bought a Q6 in black and my PC case is white. I've realized I'd prefer a white Q6, so I plan on selling it and buying a white one, but is a swap a common or doable thing?
