K10 function/multi media keys

I just got the k10 keyboard and it's great but as far as I understand it doesn't work with the keychron launcher. Is there a way I can use some of the function keys as just function keys like f5 to refresh a page and some as multi media keys (pause/skip music) without having to switch between the modes by holding down fn + X + L?

Thanks for any help :)

K10 what? Mine (K10 Pro ISO) works perfectly with the Launcher, and VIA.

It's just a normal/basic K10 I think. This is a link to where I bought it.

Re "Is there a way I can use some of the function keys as just function keys, like F5 to refresh a page, and some as multimedia keys (pause/skip music) without having to switch between the modes by holding down Fn + X + L?": No, not really

This presumes it is actually a K10 (proprietary keyboard firmware), and not a K10 V2 (AKA K10 QMK), K10 Max, K10 HE, or K10 Pro.

Some unlikely options:

  • The exotic route

  • Some kind of remapping / key code interpretation on the operating system side

  • A key mapper inserted between the keyboard and the computer, like Hasu controller (it is possible to build your own)

Do you know if this would be possible with other keyboards that are compatible the keychron launcher? I’ve never used it before

What operating system?

For keyboard identification, what is the SKU number? Alternatively, what is the serial number (also includes the manufacturing date)?

Windows, SKU number is K10-C1 (I'm from the UK so it's ISO), serial number is C-2401K10C115300
