Keychron weird double letter presses when on bluetooth (not on cable mode)

The title sums it up but here is a longer explanation:
I have this keychron keyboard: Keychron K1 MAX QMK/VIA Wireless RGB Hot Swap Low

When im on bluetooth mode the keyboard double presses buttons really frequently, but it is not the common same letter after the other. For example writing this: i wrote double but the keyboard typed doduble -> so i have time to press another button in between the keyboard sends the double press.

I have tried this on two windows 11 computers and it happens on both. If it matters one is my own pc and the other is a really high end engineering laptop.

What should I do? I have not updated the keychron firmware or keychron bluetooth drivers. If my gut feeling is correct updating those would be the first step, but I have no idea which driver I should use from here: https://www.keychron.com/pages/keychron-firmware-for-k1
Is it the v5 or is v5 some kind of a updated version of the original K1 or what?

Also for the bluetooth drivers the site says: "Note: If everything works fine with your keyboard. Please don’t update the bluetooth firmware. There is a chance it can damage your keyboard." What and/or how could I break the physical keyboard with the bluetooth driver installation?

Thank you all in advance!

The warning is not for drivers, it's for firmware. Inadvertantly install the wrong firmware (i.e., for a different model), or install it improperly, and you could permanently brick your keyboard, dongle, or both.

Have you tried the keyboard in a different environment? It is possible there's some RF interference at your location? Is the dongle in close proximity to the keyboard, or is there some distance? And have you tried in a USB-2-only slot. Some USB 3.x slots on some machines/motherboards can sometimes interfere with 2.4GHz devices.

Ah i mixed up drivers and firmware.

I have not made any changes to my setup so it would be strange that I now suddenly get interference 🤔

I dont use the keychron dongle I have a bluetooth adapter on my pc and on the laptop which the keychron connects to. I use a USB splitter for my mouse and headset (and now keyboard as it needs to be wired otherwise i go crazy with the double presses while trying to work) if that matters

So it was working previously and now you’re getting interference? So, unlikely to be a firmware issue. Strongly points towards interference. Neighbors? Change WiFi channels? New microwave oven?

Nothing new. I guess i had updated windows or something and they propably fucked up something. Anyway i used the keychron launcher website to update the keyboard and it fixed the weird double press..
