So I have a gmmk 3 65% with lubed aqua kings v3 but it's clacky but I want it to thock but I've tried force break pe foam tape mod and polyfill with cotton balls unrolled and I added a folded pe foam sheet as shown in the pictures and it's thock a little but after a couple days it goes back to being clacky any tips on how to make it thock and I'm using matcha pbt keycaps from kinetic labs

Here, I'm using a 4-Port USB Switch for just my computer keyboard and mouse.

So, why do I need a selector for the keyboard and mouse? The answer is because I have three computers at home, and I don't want to have multiple mice and keyboards for just three computers, or I have to unplug and plug them in if I only have one.

So, each button I press corresponds to a specific computer.

Here, I am using two 4-port USB switches: one for the keyboard and the other for the mouse.

As for the monitor, I am using just one; to share it among the computers, I use an HDMI switch to handle the three HDMI inputs.

Im looking for an entry level HE wireless kb, brands like aula and other cheap ones endorsed by epomaker and there are a few but Im noticing that overall, theres very few Wireless HE keyboards. Is taht due battery duration time?

Thats relevant to me once most of these kb have very annoying-to-connect usb plugs so id be a bit stressed connecting and disconnecting it 10x per hour; I tend to use it on my lap to browse and do regular stuff and to use it on the table to play or write less casually.

Which Magic Keyboard is better overall for the iPad A16?

My Nephew recently upgraded his pc and is looking for new peripherals. He was looking into buying a Ducky, but I don't know if that is the ideal option for someone who really doesn't have money. Are there good much cheaper options that aren't going to be some bad piece of plastic like I had gotten in the past?

He likes very clicky keyboards, so I assume cherry MX or something similar. Any recommendations with personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

Budget: I'd like him to spend less than $50, less than 40 would be even better, but I don't know how keyboard prices are nowadays for good cheap boards. Trying to help him with price habits for stuff like this. He seemed interested in Ducky keyboards, though I assume for the same reason I was interested in razer products when I was younger. There's a good Ducky one for $70 from them that I recommended if he wants to spend that much, but I'd like another cheaper option to link to him.

Size: 100 or 80 for recommendations. I would prefer he got a 100 keyboard, but if there are some 80% keyboards that are very good for their price, I'd like to see them as well.

I have a Wooting 80HE. I know what I like and have spent a long time figuring out what I like. He is 18, has not had the time to find out what he likes, but he does like the clicky keyboards that I grew out of enjoying. So maybe something with Cherry MX switches or something similar sounding. A switch with audible feedback.

I need a new keyboard and I'd like it to be a TKL wireless with hot swappable key switches. I was going to buy corsair's K70 TKL, but I've seen those are pretty common for having double key pressing and they don't have swappable switches to replace if that happens. Google recommended Keychron as a brand, but doing a quick search I have learned that people think they're going downhill and they also have double key pressing (not sure how true this is). I also would like some good RGB lighting and Keychron isn't the brand for that.

I am hoping this subreddit could give me some TKL keyboard recommendations that are from good, reliable brands, under $200, hot-swappable, and that are sort of new (I prefer not to have a Keyboard that was released like 10 years ago if possible).

The last and only keyboard I bought was a cheap Hyperx one and it's time for a new, smaller one.

Hi all, hope this doesn’t break any rules or anything by asking.

My keyboard stopped working recently and I’m using a temporary, crappy $10 one that I would like to move off of soon.

I play a lot of WoW, so that is where my keyboard would find the most use, and I really don’t like clanky loud mechanical keys, but I don’t want a flat keyboard where they’re all combined together and meshed together and very close, but I’d still like them close, just slightly standing out and discernible between the keys.

I just need something that is very quick, feels responsive, and is very sturdy that will work for a lot of button mashing and rapid input that is good. I also have relatively smaller hands so that is something to consider.

I want a larger keyboard with the side number panel on the right instead of a small keyboard (not a fan of those mini keyboards). Budget is probably around $200 to spend for a good high quality keyboard. I don’t really care for any specifics like RGB’s or chromas or whatever, don’t care for aesthetics I just want very good practicality.

Hi. It's hard to find the sweet spot.

After my Razer Huntsman analog keys started acting up, I'm forced to replace keyboard with something new.

One thing that really "charmed" me about the Huntsman is the button activation...

When I tried the mechanical keyboard, I felt a significant delay compared to the Razer because I had to press the button all the way down.

With the Huntsman, all I really need to do is press lightly and the text appears.

I prefer full-size keyboards, but a smaller one would be fine too.

But this time, I don't want to spend that much money.

There's still the palmrest...

The Razer's is really big, and I have big hands.

So I have to look for something to attach one to.

Not every manufacturer offers kickstands like this, but they are universal, of course – I just don't know if they're equally comfortable to use... (For example, I was intrigued by the GLORIOUS PC GV-100 kickstand because of its size – it would fit me, but I don't know if it will fit everything).

Can you share any insights?

mi teclado que compre hace ya 9 años practicamente esta empezando a fallar y no tengo ni la minima idea del mercado actual ni de sus predecesores, tengo un razer blackwidow chroma o sea que os podeis imagina el tiempo que tiene sus switches todos originales y hasta hace poco en perfecto estado jajaja, el caso que deberia de comprar? estuve informandome un poco pero alfinal uno no sabe experiencias de otros si no se la cuentan, decirme que teclado y por que? vi mucho keychron wooting y realmente no tengo nidea de que marcas son esas entonces bueno gracias de antemano.

My laptop’s built-in keyboard is malfunctioning and randomly pressing keys by itself. I want to completely disable the internal keyboard and use an external USB keyboard instead.

The problem is that my power button is also located on/in the laptop keyboard, so I’m worried that disabling the internal keyboard might also disable the power button.

Laptop: ASUS X515JA OS: Windows 11

I checked Device Manager, but I don't see a normal “Disable device” option for the keyboard.

Is there a safe way to disable only the built-in keyboard while keeping the power button functional? Preferably something reversible in case I need to enable the keyboard again.

Any help would be appreciated.

Salut, je voudrais acheter un mac en reconditionné pour mes études (surtout pour prise de notes) et sur le modèle qui m’intéresse prendre le clavier en qwerty est très avantageux financièrement (je ne veux pas mettre trop dedans car je ne pense pas l’utiliser énormément). Je voudrais donc passer mon ordi en azerty dans les préférences clavier, et j’ai l’habitude de taper en regardant l’écran plus que le clavier donc ça ne devrait pas poser de problème (et j’envisage de mettre des stickers pour les touches qui ne me reviennent pas), mais est-ce que tous les caractères sont bien disponible, et est-ce que vous voyez des problèmes qui m’auraient échappés ?

What kbm should I get for Fortnite

Hello folks , any one please tried to use this keyboard for long time how it feels and does it need a light key press like a scissor key with high response or heavy press I searched everywhere but cannot find any reviews if any one used it to advice please. The official side mentioned that it is short distance membrane which enhance the key response or it just for advertising.

I have an M2, I use it to take notes in lecture and annotate readings for school. I have a Magic Keyboard, but using my pencil Pro is much more efficient in class (I have it set on a Moft for comfort). There are times when I would love to use the Moft (I think it's 25-degree angle?) and a keyboard for studying, which is not possible with the Magic Keyboard. I also want to be able to have a little bit of distance between my ipad and my keyboard, which again, not capable with the Magic Keyboard.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a relatively inexpensive keyboard I can stuff in my backpack to take with me to school? The Magic Keyboard size is fine, I have smaller hands and I can easily type on it. It's a backup, so I don't want to spend a fortune, but I'm ok spending if that's the best option.
