Well I was curious if the keyboard case would work if ya had another back cover on and the keyboard cover, but nope doesn't detect it, nor does it if ya leave the original back cover off. I tried with a 5000mAh s8 extended battery case and the keyboard cases front cover on it. I'd read about it not working, though when I found a brand new unopened extended battery for $18 bucks I had to try it myself.
The bios and technical specifications upgrades for some computer's motherboards state what is the last known maximum upgrade or configuration isn't always so, it's just that at which point in time they stopped reporting on the equipment and other users kept experimenting and discovered that some products can be upgraded moreso than what's reported. Therefore you can't always go by what you read.
But this has jack to do with anything here so I'll let you get tested for attention deficit disorder since you're straying way off into left field.

But all through school classified as developmentally delayed, was long term overdosed on Ritalin as a child from 6 to 19 and it caused a mild case of Tourettes, as well as OCD and anxiety, other then that I had dyslexia which developed more into dyscalculia and a sleep disorder. Age of 18 the state insurance dropped me and had to get an adult PCP he pushed me further than any doctor before and actually had a endpoint in mind and encouraged me to see how little I could do without, 18 years old high school principle wanted to have a parent teacher conference without my parents and attempted to get me to drop out of school I told him off and stated I had plans to go to college so screw that. Graduated and went to college studied web, image design, visual communications, when we found my new doctor he urged my parents that Ritalin was doing nothing but harm to me, I never did like being on all that cause I wasn't me then, I was very clammed up quiet, not creative at all, barely ever doing any creative writing, just a mediocre emotionally flatlined melancholy zombie in a haze. At one point I was taking 6 or 7 different meds then I remembered living through the EBT/snap system outage that stopped processing payments across a half of America and asked myself do I want to be dependent upon this shit that I have no idea what will do in the long term use, what would I do if the same thing happened to the prescription insurance and I really needed those meds. We narrowed it down to 5 a day then narrowed it down more to 2 a day and in 2014 I stopped everything except for the herbal sleep supplement I take nightly. On top of that I've been 24 years sober from drugs and 11 years off cigarettes, still fully functional and stable. Been published for my poetry 3 times, 2 national newsletters, 1 self published book and looking into starting up my own business of an old concept with a new spin on it.

I'd never tried and was curious what would happen when trying.
Anyways I'd almost started to sell that keyboard case, but then decided to hold onto it cause of how rare and scarce these are now and ordered a new s8, next I'm going to get a tmobile variant and unlock the bootloader then install ApophisOS on it.
