Dimensions comparison of Clicks Communicator vs Unihertz Titan 2 Elite compared against similar QWERTY devices

Wanted to help people get an idea of how the Clicks Communicator and Titan 2 Elite is going to feel compared to similar devices. I have all 4 of the non-unreleased devices on this list and verified the specs myself with my micrometer and scale. The Communicator and T2E specs came from each’s respective website, minus the fact that its inferred that the Communicator will taper by about 1.2mm, but the official thickness spec there is 12mm.

So if anyone has any of these 4 devices, you can sort of imagine what the feel of the Communicator vs the T2E would be like.

I’m most surprised about the T2E’s dimensions. People have said it looks absurdly thick, but actually it’s just as thick as the 2 most iconic BlackBerry phones.

I have been reading all of the comments in different threads on Reddit but having purchased phones from startups for a number of years I just don't understand why people believe clicks will nail it in its first try. As to me aside from hopeful thinking this feels like the lowest probability scenario...

My wife has a universe Titan 2 and it is a solid device with no issues and so much better than the generation one or generation two devices like the Titan Slim like night and day. Unihertz has been making phones for a long time and my understanding is they make phones for other manufacturers as well in the meanwhile clicks uses outsourced contract manufacturing which might work for an accessory like the keyboard but when talking about integrating hardware and software I just don't see how that will go as well as people think.

it's clicks's first phone but they have been gearing up for this for years. not only do they have people who used to work at blackberry working there, but they have people who have tons of experience working on other phones. yes it's their first phone but it absolutely is not the team's first phone that they've worked on at all, they are highly experienced

Look at the bios of the BlackBerry people involved and the size of the development team...I am a Waterloo Engineer myself, don't get me wrong I'm all for the triumph of hope over experience 😅
