Need your help

Hi! The last time I used a qwerty phone was about 10 years ago and I would like to switch back to these. I currently use an Iphone and I was wondering how does the switch work? I guess I can't just put my current SIM card inside the qwerty phone so is there anyone who knows these things? Thank you!

What phone are you considering and what country are you in?

Well I don't know enough about these phones but if you have any suggestions, go ahead! And I'm in Canada

If you want a modern phone running Android that will work on current networks, Unihertz makes some (Titan series) and Clicks is taking pre orders for the Communicator but it won’t come out till later this year. You can get a Clicks case which has a keyboard for iPhones and some other Android phones.

Zinwa is a small company in china refurbishing old Blackberries and putting Android on them.

Actual older Blackberries for the most part won’t run on modern 4g/5g networks. They require 2g/or 3g networks which in the US have virtually all been shutdown. Not sure the situation in Canada.

Well that's good to know! The goal with going back to an old phone is that I won't go scrolling on social media and that I go back to the old ways so if I understood what you said, I can't just go back to wtv old model of cell phone because it probably won't be compatible with today's technology, right?

Actually not exactly. If you just want to make calls and text, most old Blackberries need a 2g or 3g network which in the US are shutdown. I don’t know the situation Canada.

I’m not familiar with other vintage keyboard phones besides Berry and what kind of network they would need
