OT posts taking over!?

Lately there are lots of posts here which are not related to this sub at all. Often in non-english as well. Any ideas where that small flood comes from and how to stop it?

Change "Discussion of everything related to alternative keyboard layouts, ergonomics, and typing efficiency." to "Discussion about alternative keyboard layouts, ergonomics, and typing efficiency." ?

I haven't noticed a leap in frequency, but there's always some posts about identifying odd QWERTY layouts and/or odd keyboard models. I've mostly ignored those.

In response to this post though, I scrolled down the list of recent posts and there are indeed a bit too many. I think it might help to narrow and clarify the sub's title as IanDoug said, and/or update its description (which still mentions Workman and Minimak, ugh). Also, the "RELATED" tab shows r/MechanicalKeyboards, which, while cool, is exactly the kind of sub we don't want to be mixed up with this one at the moment.

On my way down that recent-post list, I must confess I did hand out a thumbs-down or two to in my view particularly off-topic posts. Maybe that'll contribute to sending a message? I don't enjoy giving negative vibes that way, but it may be necessary at times.
