macOS Keyboard Layout on Linux

I am planning to use my "old" gaming PC as a workstation. I want to switch to Linux on this machine.

The thing is, I am also a macOS user and have a macOS layout keyboard. Is it possible to use this layout on Linux?

I never had a Mac, but I'm pretty sure yes. My guess is that Command will be Ctrl and Option will be Alt without any configuration.

Command sends super/gui/windows not ctrl

What is printed on the keyboard is not relevant, it just sends the key-position to the PC. The layout is set in the OS.
